There is no disputing that exercise is beneficial to weight loss. Even for those that understand the benefits and how better they look and feel as a result of exercise, it can be a very easy thing to dread and avoid. To stop this from happening it is recommended to keep things interesting by mixing up the things that you do to stay active. Exercising doesn't necessarily have to be a formal affair either, it can be incorporated into your day in less subtle ways such as increasing the number of opportunities we have to walk and exerting ourselves such as in games or tasks. In terms of weight management, exercise and food work together hand in hand. Exercise burns the fuel that otherwise contributes to our fat storages and increases our bodies ability to burn fat even when we are idle i.e. increases our metabolism. Speaking of burning fat while we are idle, muscle is very good at this so weight training should not be ignored in the pursuit of weight loss.
